Hello World!!!!
  I have been away for so long and have so much to say and catch up on since my last post.. A lot of things  have changed since then, The hubby and I grew older as well as the grandchildren...Time seems to be going faster these days! However exciting things have happened since then and are happening still. Where oh where does one begin.............Ok!! Here goes....This past year has been a hectic one...We retired and sold our home of 40+ years and moved to our vacation home in
the quaint little town of Arkdale, Wisconsin.. It was quite the task to move our "STUFF" of 40+ years and move ourselves away to a place well over 100+ miles. But.....then we had to have a huge sale during memorial weekend because we didn't have enough storage for  the sum of 2 houses. So we did some downsizing and did very well in the sales to boot! I have to say I had some sad times right before this move as about a year ago I lost my sweet little Taylor Elizabeth and then a few weeks ago our sweet Heidi Lynn passed. I miss them every day however we still have our baby Jax who my husband kindly reminds me that he is not a baby anymore.........Um...I ignore that.

Where was I? Oh yea the start of our new retired journey! Well Greg(My husband) and I took a week long vacation and drove out to Maine ( a lifelong dream) It was a lot of driving in a lot of traffic...We saw many things on our trip but we were glad to get back to our latest home and really get settled in..
 We had lots of company during the summer  and fall and then deer hunting season come along..(That's always a fun time..) and then Christmas was upon us which catches me up to the here and now!!!! I am joyous to say that we are renovating our home here in Arkdale...The house didn't have much of a living room or enough storage for us soooo..we are making our attached garage into a new living room and a huge walk -in closet...We also are having a central air/heating system put in as the house was electric with no ac for the hot humid summers. Also we are having new siding put on the house so yes soooo much is going on in my life....Crazy, huh? Yea I know!!! So my friends...I will say Adieu for now...I will try to post some new pics,recipes,quotes and bible verses very very soon...Love and miss you all!!!
